Started by Ron and Linda Gilbert as Victoria Tea House back in the 80's, Island Chocolates was the creation with from the help of a chocolatier and owner of Charlie's Choclate Factory, Charlie Sigvardsen. The Gilbert's learned then everything they needed to from Charlie. The work and the shop we visit was originally a general store dating back to the 1800's which eventually closed in the late 1960's. The shop, originally called Wright Bro's General Store, still has some remains of it in the current Island Chocolates building that was restored as well. Island Chocolate's door's and some windows are from that general store. Here you can enjoy some chocolates on us.

Here you can pick a bouquet of lavender on us (when in season) or buy some of its essential lavender oil based products.
